Organized under Umang Fellowship Chapter 4, this initiative aimed to showcase the true spirit of Lyari \u2014 beyond stereotypes and headlines \u2014 highlighting its heritage, strength, and vibrant community life.<\/p>\n

Inspiring Opening at Kakri Ground Sports Complex<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

The journey began with a powerful opening ceremony at Kakri Ground Sports Complex. We were honored by the presence of Nasir Kareem<\/span><\/span> (Town Chairman Lyari)<\/strong>, Anwar Ali Bhatti<\/span><\/span> (Director Rose Educational Society)<\/strong>, Ashgar Baloch<\/span><\/span> (Secretary Sindh Boxing Association)<\/strong>, and Abid Brohi<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, who shared motivating words that set the tone for a day rooted in hope, unity, and cultural appreciation.<\/p>\n

Their presence reaffirmed the purpose of the initiative: empowering youth through exposure, dialogue, and meaningful interaction.<\/p>\n

The fellows then explored Lea Market, immersing themselves in Lyari\u2019s rich historical and commercial heritage. The vibrant streets, local vendors, and traditional businesses offered a deeper understanding of the community\u2019s economic and cultural backbone.<\/p>\n

A Warm Welcome at Mehrgarh Safe Space<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

At Mehrgarh Safe Space, participants experienced the true warmth of Lyari with a traditional local breakfast. The soulful drum circle led by Nauroz Ghani<\/span><\/span><\/strong> created a magical moment \u2014 a celebration of culture, rhythm, and unity that brought everyone together.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Headlines at Cheel Chowk<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

At Cheel Chowk Lyari Heritage, participants explored the area in real time \u2014 witnessing daily life, resilience, and strong community bonds. It was an opportunity to see Lyari through lived experiences rather than media narratives.<\/p>\n

The day concluded at Rose Youth Point \u2014 a place we proudly call home. Over lunch, participants engaged in reflection and an honest feedback session.
