The 2nd Inning Café
Year: 2019–2020

The 2nd Inning Café was launched to create positive engagement opportunities for the community through socio-cultural activities. The program featured theatre sessions, discussion circles, and interactive workshops, engaging more than 1,000 community members from Khadda Memon and Chakiwara. It provided a safe and vibrant environment where people could connect, learn, and express themselves.
Azme Naujawan Youth Centre

The Azme Naujawan Youth Centre serves as a dynamic hub for youth empowerment and community development. The centre offers leadership training, community action initiatives, and skill-building workshops. Designed as a safe space for creativity and dialogue, it continues to mobilize young people to build stronger, inclusive, and socially responsible communities.
Rose Educational and Social Welfare Organization (RESWO)
Established: 1992
Registered: 2014 (Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961)
RESWO is a non-government, not-for-profit organization committed to uplifting the underprivileged community of Lyari. Starting with a school for street children, the organization has expanded into multiple schools, social welfare initiatives, and empowerment programs. Its mission focuses on providing quality education, advancing social development, and promoting human empowerment with compassion and collaboration.
Rosetech Computer Institute
Established: 2019
A Project of: Rose Educational Society
Rosetech Computer Institute is a leading IT training hub in Lyari, offering professional courses in web development, graphic design, video editing, CIT, and more. Through a hands-on learning approach and supportive environment, the institute equips students with essential digital skills and empowers them to build strong, future-ready careers in technology.
Karachi Youth Initiative (KYI)
Years: 2014–2016
The Karachi Youth Initiative was the first-ever project implemented at RESWO. Between 2014 and 2016, KYI engaged youth through film screenings, outdoor activities, leadership sessions, and training programs. The project provided young individuals with valuable exposure, personal growth opportunities, and community engagement experiences.
Rose I.T Community Centre
Established: 2014
The Rose I.T Community Centre launched the BBSYDP Program to provide free IT training for youth. Through advanced computer courses and digital skill-building opportunities, the centre enabled countless young learners to access high-quality training at zero cost, empowering them to pursue successful careers in the digital world.
Rose Scouts Group
Since: 1998
The Rose Scouts Group fosters discipline, teamwork, and leadership among youth. Every year, the group organizes a 10-day Scout Training Camp in the Northern Areas, offering outdoor learning, survival skills, and transformative personal development experiences for participants.
Rose Educational Society
Founded: 1992
Branches: 28 branches across Karachi
Students: 1,100+ students
Rose Educational Society began its mission in Lyari to provide quality education to underprivileged children. Today, with over 28 branches, it remains committed to academic excellence and co-curricular growth. The Society promotes Scouting, Speech & Debate, Sports & Gaming, and IT education, nurturing confident, capable, and socially responsible students.
Umang Fellowship Program
A Movement of Purposeful Youth Leadership
The Umang Fellowship Program ignites the potential of young changemakers through training in technology, communication, and civic action. Fellows engage in high-impact guest sessions, real-world projects, and leadership activities. Although the journey concludes with certification, it sparks a lifelong commitment to community-driven impact.
Rose Youth Point
Established: 2014
Rose Youth Point was founded by Sir Anwar Ali Bhatti to provide a safe and positive space for the youth of Lyari during challenging times. The centre offers free indoor games, training programs, computer classes, language courses, and youth competitions. It continues to empower young people with opportunities to learn, engage, and grow in a supportive community environment.
