About Us

Our Story

Rose Youth Point is a project of the Rose Educational & Social Welfare Organization (RESWO) — a non-profit, community-based initiative established in 1992 by a group of passionate social activists and volunteers.

What began as a small effort to educate street children in Lyari has now grown into a youth movement fostering education, digital skills, leadership, and social development.

Since 2014, RESWO has been officially registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance 1961, continuing its mission to build a stronger, more empowered Lyari community.

To create positive spaces and opportunities for the deprived and defenseless through community collaboration, education, and skill development — enabling youth to demonstrate their talent and shape their future.

Why We Exist

Lyari — one of Karachi’s oldest and most vibrant communities — has faced decades of neglect, poverty, and social challenges.
Amid this environment, many young people struggle with unemployment, limited education, and a lack of purpose.
Rose Youth Point emerged to change this narrative.
By providing training, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities, we give Lyari’s youth the tools, confidence, and direction they need to create meaningful change.
